KindRoll
Aug 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the KindRoll iOS application and its related support pages. “KindRoll,” “we,” and “us” refer to the application provider identified on KindRoll’s App Store listing.

1. Scope

This policy explains what KindRoll processes, what stays on your device, and how Apple and RevenueCat help provide purchases.

2. Photo library access and on-device analysis

KindRoll requests read-and-write access to your Apple Photos library so it can find exact duplicates, identify photos that may look similar, organize screenshots and videos, and submit only the items you choose for deletion.

  • Your photos, videos, thumbnails, visual fingerprints, and OCR text are not uploaded to KindRoll servers.
  • Photo comparison and classification run on your device.
  • KindRoll does not delete anything automatically.
  • Apple displays a separate system confirmation before a deletion is completed.
  • Items you confirm for deletion move to Photos’ Recently Deleted album, subject to Apple’s behavior and settings.

3. Information stored on your device

KindRoll stores local scan indexes, derived comparison data, cleanup selections, review progress, and app preferences so scans can resume and your choices are not lost. This information stays in the app’s local storage. You can remove it by deleting the app from your device.

4. Purchases and RevenueCat

KindRoll uses Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to load products, validate purchases, restore access, and determine whether KindRoll Pro is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase information, such as product identifiers, transaction status, entitlement status, locale, and currency. KindRoll does not receive or store your payment-card details.

Purchase history is used for app functionality, fraud prevention, customer support, and aggregate subscription analytics. KindRoll does not use purchase information for advertising or cross-app tracking. RevenueCat’s own processing is governed by its Privacy Policy.

5. What KindRoll does not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use advertising trackers or the advertising identifier.
  • We do not upload your photo library for remote analysis.
  • We do not create an account tied to your name or email address.

6. Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete the app or the operating system removes its storage. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records as needed to provide entitlements, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and support restoration. To ask about purchase data associated with KindRoll’s anonymous RevenueCat identifier, contact support and include that identifier if available.

7. Your choices

  • Change or revoke Photos access in iOS Settings.
  • Review every cleanup selection before submitting it to Apple.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
  • Delete KindRoll to remove its local app data.
  • Contact support with a privacy or deletion request.

8. Children

KindRoll is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not include accounts, advertising, social features, or remote photo storage.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when KindRoll’s features or service providers change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
