Terms of Use

KindRoll
Aug 26, 2026

These terms describe how KindRoll works, how purchases are handled, and the responsibilities that come with changing a photo library.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using KindRoll, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

2. What KindRoll provides

KindRoll is an on-device photo-organization utility. It can identify exact duplicates, surface photos that may look similar, organize selected media categories, and help you prepare a cleanup list. Results are suggestions for your review, not guarantees that an item is unwanted or safe to remove.

3. Your photo library and deletion decisions

  • You are responsible for reviewing every item you select.
  • KindRoll never promises that visually similar photos contain identical information.
  • Apple presents the final system deletion confirmation.
  • Deleted items normally move to Recently Deleted and may continue using storage until permanently removed.
  • You should maintain appropriate backups of important photos and videos.

4. KindRoll Free and KindRoll Pro

KindRoll may include limited free functionality. KindRoll Pro can provide ongoing access to additional review categories and cleanup sessions. Available features, product names, prices, billing periods, and introductory offers are displayed in the app using information supplied by the App Store.

5. Subscriptions and lifetime access

  • Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account.
  • Apple charges your selected payment method and controls billing, refunds, taxes, renewal, and cancellation.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings or from KindRoll’s subscription-management entry.
  • Lifetime access is a one-time in-app purchase for the lifetime of the KindRoll product, subject to these terms and continued platform availability.
  • Use Restore Purchases to recover eligible purchases associated with your Apple Account.

Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Deleting KindRoll does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

6. Acceptable use

You may use KindRoll only for lawful personal purposes. You may not reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, resell, or use the app to infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.

7. Availability and changes

Device conditions, iCloud availability, Photos permissions, library size, iOS behavior, and App Store services can affect results. We may improve, modify, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, while respecting rights that applicable law and Apple’s policies give existing purchasers.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KindRoll is provided “as is” and without warranties that every duplicate will be detected, every size estimate will be exact, or a cleanup will immediately free a stated amount of storage. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to KindRoll or applicable requirements. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply where permitted by law.
