ShrinkPic is designed as a completely local application.

- Compressed photos are saved directly to your device's photo library.
This local-first approach means your photos remain private and under your control at all times.
- ShrinkPic does not require any account creation or sign-in.
- We do not collect your email, name, phone number, or any other personal information.
- You can use all features of the app without providing any personal data.
To improve app stability and user experience, ShrinkPic uses Firebase Analytics.
- Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data, such as feature interactions, app launches, and basic device information.
- This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to understand app performance and usage trends.
- Analytics data is not used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
- No photo data or metadata is ever transmitted through analytics.
ShrinkPic requests only the permissions necessary to function:
- Photo Library Access
Required to select photos for compression and to save compressed photos back to your library. Photos are accessed only when you explicitly choose them.
We do not access contacts, camera, location data, microphone, or other unrelated device information.
- ShrinkPic does not use advertising SDKs.
- We do not display ads in the app.
- We do not track users across other apps or websites.
- Firebase Analytics is used strictly for aggregated, anonymous analytics purposes.
- All photo processing occurs locally on your device.
- Photos are never transmitted over the internet.
- We have no servers that receive or store your photos.
- Device-level protections (such as Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode settings) help safeguard your photo library.

We use Firebase Analytics solely for understanding app usage patterns. Firebase may collect:
- Anonymous device identifiers
- App interaction events (e.g., "compression completed")

Firebase does not receive any photo data or personally identifiable information.
