Getting started
Create an invoice: tap New invoice, pick a client, add a line item, then Preview & Send.
Set your region & tax: Settings → Tax region. Your local tax (VAT / GST / HST / PST) is then applied automatically in the correct invoice format.
Registered for VAT/GST? Turn it on in Settings → Company details. If your business isn't registered, leave it off and no tax is added.
Estimates: switch to the Estimates tab to send a quote, then convert it to an invoice in one tap once it's accepted.
Add your logo & details: Settings → Company details.
Premium, purchases & subscriptions
What's included: watermark-free invoices, 4 PDF templates, font styles, your brand colour, a custom footer, and iCloud sync across your devices.
Restore a purchase: Settings → Restore purchases (or the Restore button on the upgrade screen). Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
Manage or cancel a subscription: Settings → Manage subscription, or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
iCloud sync: a Premium feature. Turn it on in Settings → iCloud Sync; changes take effect next time you open the app. Your data syncs through your own private iCloud — we never see it.
Your data
Stub is local-first: your invoices, clients and company details are stored on your device (and, with
Premium, synced through your own private iCloud). We have no servers and never receive this content.
Deleting the app removes its local data. See our
Privacy Policy for details.
A note on tax
Tax handling is simplified for common freelancer and small-business cases and should be verified by
your business or accountant. Don't see your country, or spotted a rate that looks off? Email us — we add
and correct regions based on what users report.
